I become Senate President in my University starting June 1. I wanted to ask if anyone in the group had ever done a top-to-bottom review of a university to determine its cost and revenue structure. Do they have any suggestions as to what to examine? Also, what unexpected items or techniques fid they use or find?
Our University maintains its numbers despite the potential decline in the primary demographic for undergraduate students. However, we are having difficulty providing the same raises as many Universities in the state, and our faculty are well below theoretical market salaries. It is important that the areas I look at result in positive suggestions.
I look forward to your thoughts.
