Implemented one of the first (if not the first) activity based costing (ABC) projects in Australia at ICI Films (Plastics) Division with PWC as consultants in 1988/89.

Involved in over 100 projects/assignments as team member, leader, project manager or subject expert related to a wide range of perfromance management outcomes [cost and profitability management at product and customer level, pricing, IT cost transparency, process improvement/ redesign/reengineering, cost reduction, performance measurement, budgeting and resource planning.

Besides overall contribution to projects through my experience/knowledge, my specialist skills are in desiging and creating the underlying business cost/profitability models (usually in fit for purpose software) and providing after care and training.

Projects undertaken span many industry sectors [airlines & transportation, banking, insurance & finance, electronics, energy & water utilities, food, healthcare & disability services, higher education, mining & resources, postal and courier services, telecommunications, numerous types of manufacturing and goevernment agencies at federal, state, and local government] levels].

Motivation

My endeavours are to continiously create and improve methods that help/convince organisations to adopt, implement and start benefiting from profitability analytics information based on sound underlying business modelling.
