As we move forward with this IG we'd like to see more concrete output. Through the townhall discussions a few possible projects have been identified. One of those is mapping traditional accounting curricula to the PA framework and identifying specific gaps to be filled by pedagogical output (publishable!) and/or scholarly output (definitely publishable!) from this group.
To start the conversation, how might we organize such a project? Are you interested in contributing, but need more direction from PACE? What kind of output is most interesting/exciting to you related to this issue?
I'd like to help with this. I'm on a curriculum committee here at Georgia Southern University (BBA and MAcc) and think those responsibilities overlap pretty well with the gap analysis here.
