I wish everyone in this group happy holidays and best wishes for a great winter break.
My holiday wish is that everyone in this group look into the great resources available regarding profitability analytics for classroom use. Time to bring our classes in to the 21st century! A book written by Doug Hicks, profitable expectations, can serve as a great course supplement to a managerial accounting course, and can raise students’ awareness of the potential strategic business partner role of management accountants. Written as a novel, it is engaging and accessible to students at any level. It has already been successfully used in the classroom.
Of course, there is also PACE’s new book, unleashing the power of probably analytics, which would also be a great choice!
