As I've been thinking about my next stream of research, I keep coming back to the question of uncertainty. There's some interesting psychology and behavioral economics work in this area. Increasingly I think, and I think there may be some good research questions to explore, the future of our work is in using data and analysis to reduce uncertainty and alleviate the decision errors that come with our behavioral responses to uncertainty and associated risk.
While I'd be intrigued to hear your thoughts on the above, am as or more intrigued to hear what you've been pondering for your own next research projects.
