The leadership at PACE is looking to put together a more filled out model for the Revenue Management component of the PA Framework. Specifically, for academics we're looking to identify dimensions/concepts/topics which would be included in a course or unit on the topic.
So, opening it up to the broader IG, if you already include this in a course, what do you teach on this topic? If you've considered the topic, what do you think would be important to include in the model?
- Competitive and business intelligence and Strategy
- Avoiding generalisation (Each market/activity has its own specifics and revenue management shall be intimitely driven by those specifics). Identifying those specifics and modeling around them (BtB vs BtC, customer segmentation, product and geographic reach, competition forces...)
