Not sure what happened but I tried to respond to Raef's question "what aspect of Profitability Analytics is most concerning in their organization?" and my answer or response somehow never got published?
For CONTRACTORS the biggest question is How to OPTIMIZE winning bids vs maintaining the highest possible profit margins and for OWNERS, it is the process they follow to properly capture and reports "Return on Assets", "Return on Investment" or what is commonly known today as "Benefits Realization"?
Important to recognize that the owner's and contractors' perspectives are quite different, given that for OWNERS, projects are COST or INVESTMENT centers while for CONTRACTORS,(including their subcontractors, vendors, suppliers and consultants) Projects are PROFIT centers.
This is an interesting discussion on the difference in perspectives!
