About
I’m an author, speaker, educator and consultant with fifty years of experience. I’ve consulted with over two hundred businesses that I’ve helped develop innovative and cost-effective methods to improve the managerial costing information on which they rely in making both strategic and day-to-day decisions. A graduate of the University of Michigan - Dearborn’s School of Management and a CPA, I’m a member of the Michigan Association of CPAs, the Institute of Management Accountants and serve on the advisory board of the IMA’s Profitability Analytics Center of Excellence (PACE).
I’ve has contributed dozens of articles that have been published in a wide variety of professional and industry periodicals including Journal of Accountancy, Manufacturing Engineering, Journal of Cost Management, Modern Casting, Plastic Technology, Precision, and Management Accounting and authored three books on managerial costing issues including “Activity-Based Costing: Making it Work for Small and Mid-Sized Companies” and “I May Be Wrong, But I Doubt It: How Accounting Information Undermines Profitability.”
